My van was finished, but I was told I could not get my van back until Armory paid. He paused and said I only needed to pay the $589.53 because they did not ask my permission to do the repair. He said it would cost me $589.53 for the diagnostic and another $600 for the repair or they would not release it to ** to have my parts returned. Then they told me the insurance company would not cover it. On December 8th, Armory called to tell me the problem was a small wire and they replaced it.

Every so often, Armory said they were checking with my insurance to approve more diagnostic time, which they got. This back and forth pattern continued until December 8th, more than 2 months. I later learn they were taking parts off my van and keeping them at **. They were subcontractors of Armory and Armory would pay them. I told him I never approved sending it somewhere else, and they asked if I wanted them to continue the diagnostic. I asked why and they said "we don't touch the modifications". They agreed and they obtained my permission for the diagnostic. Armory called my insurance company to make sure the diagnostic would be covered. I took it to ** and they sent me to Armory Garage saying they didn't do repairs. In August 2022, my backup camera stopped working. I am a wheelchair user who purchased a ramp van from ******** ***** (**) in January 2022, with a bumper-to-bumper extended warantee for an additional $4700.
